Mad Apples

I was not impressed with the meal I ordered. The brisket was mostly fat and had little meat on it. Also, the cole slaw tasted awful , it was driping in mayonaise and the barbecue beans had a strange taste, like they sprinkled cinnamon on top. I will NOT be returning to eat at this restaurant. Lousy meal!!

I never thought I would find a nice soul restaurant in the Poconos but alas Mad Apples is that place. The food was awesome! My wife and I had the catfish, which was fried to perfection. I enjoyed a side of greens and Mac and cheese and it was really good. For dessert I enjoyed Mad Apples crisp. That was pretty amazing. My taste buds are still dancing. The customer service was on point. The atmosphere could be improved. Overall we were very pleased and will definitely return. We strongly encourage you to go if you are ever in the area.

Wonderful service great atmosphere and fantastic fresh made food had the naked burger a burger on a bed of lettuce and tomato with nobun and sweet potato fries so good

we went there a few weeks back and got an ice cream cone that was the smallest ice cream I have every been served, no kidding. I believe it cost about $3.50. My girl friend received ice cream in a cup that was one single small scope. the taste of both were plain.

We went on a night that they had the barbecue special. We all had pulled pork which was tender and good. Sides were also great, the meaty beans were outstanding. Cute little place! I highly recommend!

You must stop by and try it.Everything is made from scratch and deliciousWe had a Cuban and Philly steak. Each came with fries and all tasted great. People from restaurant are friendly. if you have room for dessert they have some cake, pie or cheesecake. There is also ice cream that you can sit outside.

The place was very clean, nicely decorated and the owner was extremely friendly. She made all of food fresh, it came out piping hot and was very delicious. She made time to also come over to our table and got to know us a little. She also taught us how to play dominoes. The desert was absolutely amazing, I highly recommend the cheesecake!

Found this place on vacation they just switched there menu all you can eat bbq for 25$ you can beat it with a stick. Everything was so tender and flavorful i could have died then and there. I definitely recommend!

I've only experienced magic a few times in my life and tonight was one of those times at Mad Apples. I ordered the Cheesesteak and fries and it was fantastic actual pieces of steak instead of grisly steak-ums that you'd get someplace else. The service was really good and the staff were also friendly. They had an amazing band and when the owner got up to play drums I just lost it. Highly recommend this place to everyone. Especially when the band 'Contact' is playing! The talent in that place tonight was just magical.

The $8 cheesecake we bought was served with such a side of saltiness that we felt bad spending any kind of money there. We pulled over after driving for about 3 and 1/2 hours to take a little break have some coffee or something else, and use the bathroom. You know just a general break on a road trip. The place was really promising, but the attitude of the employees really diminished the promise a lot.

My family took a drive from Long Island NY to come visit. We had the catfish, (which was so good we asked for another piece) It's Lit Burger, which is a juicy beef party with the most delectable Mac and cheese on top (yes they put Mac & cheese on a burger, you can thank me later) We also had the Philly cheese steak fries, and the buffalo chicken fries. We are stuffed and so freaking happy we took the drive. We've been couped up in the house and wanted to do something special. This hit the spot and was well worth the drive. I hope they are around for many many years to come. The food is really amazing and the service matches. Thank you Mad Apples.

Tucked away in a quiet town off of Rt 80 in Pa is a hidden treasure that most would feel lucky to have found. We felt that way. The food is sensational. Shaina, the owner is kind, modest woman and wonderful chef. She was on hells kitchen season 16. No doubt, it won't be long before they are lining out the door for her food. Everything she makes is delicious and the live music and cozy environment don't hurt either.

Everything was delicious. The cat fish nuggets are a must. The wings were also well flavored. The family and I are already planning our next meal.

Great food, had the Cuban sandwich and the sweet potato fries, ( they taste like pumpkin pie). Only complaint , they were sold out of the sweet potato cheese cake, I will come back and try that soon.

OMG, I had the philly cheese steak and fries and my wife had the Cuban sandwich with fries. Strawberry cheesecake shakes and sweet potato pie. The philly cheese steak was shredded steak which was awesome amazing. Thank you for the great, delicious food.

We went to Mad Apples for Dinner and to listen to some funky music. The Atmosphere and the food was fantastic. If you get a chance to try it you won’t be disappointed. The chef was very accommodating and created a special meal to fit my dietary needs. Thank you

This was my 1st time visiting Mad Apples and I truly enjoyed the food!! The food was very fresh and seasoned just right. Chef Shaina and the staff were very friendly and made our first visit a very personal experience! I would definitely return!

My husband, mother, and I stopped in for dinner for the first time after someone recommended it to us. The ambiance was very nice, it was modern and stylish, yet comfortable. My husband got the Cuban sandwich, I got the Cuban loaded fries, and my mom got the Philly cheesesteak fries. Coming from a Hispanic background, it’s hard to find a good Cubano in the area. And after living in Texas for a few years, my husband and I have pretty high standards for Cubans. With that being said, we enjoyed our food and it gave us a little taste of being back in Texas. The buffalo wings were also very good.

A nice place to visit for a refreshing treat after your trip at the cool snake farm next door. The inside was setup like an old fashioned parlor but with a nice new modern bar and stools. Cute decor and pictures on the walls. There was a stage with instruments so I assumed there is a musical venue at night. The owner or manager was very polite and even set up some 80s dance music(which my wife loved😆) for us as my kids happily lapped at the delicious fresh ice cream. Would definitely visit again.

Popped in here quick with a few girlfriends after a day of UTVing and we were starving! Our lives were saved with some great food.

OMG!!! The food was absolutely delicious and served fresh. A real good home cooked meal. The "ALL YOU CAN EAT SPECIAL" was a sure hit. Shaina, the owner was a pleasure and made us feel welcomed. I really enjoyed myself and the food. My family and I will most definitely come back again. 💃💃💃💃💃

Great food, great atmosphere and Chef Shaina is serving up tasty dishes and desserts with the best side of warm welcoming customer service! The Banana Pudding ice cream and the Apple Pie ice cream are comfort desserts at its finest!
